Welcome

Hi! I have never even thought of blogging online before. But I read a few blogs and decided to give it a try.

Since this blog is essentially my new creation, I have no idea what it will end up like. I love diversity so I believe it will be very diverse. But one thing will always be here. ME.

I called this blog "Creative Motherhood" because #1 I am a mother and I am creative. But I also believe that motherhood is not something that is taught -- it is something that comes from the heart. I believe parenting requires more than love and provision for physical needs. It requires HUMOR and HUMILITY. Parents should be able to laugh at themselves when things go wrong. Parents should make sure their children have a safe place to call home -- and they should make sure their children, even teenagers, have something to smile about.

With this in mind, I plan to blog regularly. Please feel free to post your ideas, comments and questions. I would love to hear from you!
